A pool is one element of a backyard, not the whole plan — and the projects that turn out best are the ones designed that way from the start. AZ Outdoor Concepts builds fully custom pools across the Phoenix metro, and because we build the hardscape, shade, and landscape too, the deck elevations, drainage, equipment screening, and sightlines are all worked out before anyone breaks ground.
That integration is the practical advantage of hiring one contractor for the whole yard. The deck is designed at the right height and slope for the coping. Conduit and gas for the fire feature and outdoor kitchen are trenched while the pool plumbing is already open. Shade goes where it will actually fall across the water and the lounge area in the afternoon. Equipment is placed where it's serviceable and out of earshot. None of that happens reliably when a pool builder, a hardscaper, and a landscaper each show up separately.

Free Design Consultation
We walk your yard with you, talk through how you actually want to use the space — cooking, entertaining, shade, play, low upkeep — and get a feel for materials, layout, and budget. No pressure, no obligation.
Custom Design & Estimate
You get a full backyard design and a clear, itemized written estimate covering layout, hardscape materials, structures, plants, and timeline — and we handle the permitting with your city.
Build & Installation
Our own crews handle every phase — grading and drainage, compacted base, pavers, walls, structures, turf, irrigation, and planting — built to hold up to Arizona sun, monsoon runoff, and caliche soil.
Walkthrough & Aftercare
We clean up, walk the finished space with you, and show you how to care for it. We're not perfect, but we'll always be here when you need us.
