Every pool interior has a service life, and Arizona's sun, heat, and chemical demands shorten it. Over time plaster etches, stains set in, and the surface turns rough underfoot. Beyond how it looks and feels, a failing interior makes water chemistry harder to hold, raises chemical use, and eventually exposes the shell. Most Valley pools need resurfacing somewhere in the 10-to-15-year range.
Our process starts with draining and inspecting the shell — mapping hollow spots, cracks, and delaminated areas that need to be cut out and patched before anything new goes on. We prep with bonding agents and mechanical profiling so the new material actually adheres, apply your chosen finish with proper technique and consistent thickness, then cure, refill, and balance the water chemistry through startup. Startup matters more than most homeowners realize: the first two weeks of brushing and chemistry set how the finish wears for the next decade.
